Bonraspail
Bonraspail carries natural and organic food, organic fresh vegetables and fruit, vegetarian food, fair trade goods, self care products and so on!
They have four stores – Yokohama, Nagayama, Kichijoji and Seibu Shinjuku Pepe Store. For directions see their website.
Crayon House
Crayon House sells fresh organic fruit, veges and groceries as well as organic self care products, cosmetics and organic clothing.
If you are at Harajuku Station walk down Omotesando Dori (Ave.) until you get to chocolate shop La Maison du Chocolat Omotesando. Turn right there and walk for a few blocks. You can’t miss it. Crayon House.
National Azabu Supermarket
National Azabu Supermarket is an oasis of imported foods that has been around since 1962. It has an impressive range of foods from around the world including many items which are difficult to find in Tokyo. Many ex-pats live in Minami-Azabu where it’s flagship store is located so they do make an extra effort to serve this community. There are many vegetarian items and health foods amongst the sea of comfort foods from home. You need to bring your own shopping bags (to reduce plastic waste). They deliver for free on purchases over ¥5000 within their delivery areas.
National Azabu is near Hiroo Station on the Hibiya Line. They have limited free parking for customers.
National Den-en is near Denenchofu Station on the Toyoko Line. They have free parking for customers.
Natural House
Natural House has organic fruit and vegetables, groceries, health products, vegetarian, macrobiotic and personal care products. They have stores in Aoyama, Meguro, Shimokitazawa, Kitasenju, Yurakucho, Futakotamagawa, Ueno, Tachikawa, Kichijoji, Hachiioji, Funabashi, Kobe, Shizuoaka and Osaka.
Tengu Natural Foods / Alishan Cafe
Tengu Natural Foods is a fantastic food store with the best supply of organic foods, vegetarian essentials, baking supplies as well as herbs and spices. They are also a brilliant resource if you have food intolerances (milk, dairy, wheat). The nearest station is Koma which is an hour from Ikebukuro but they have an online store and deliver to Tokyo and throughout Japan. Also makes a nice weekend trip if you feel like getting out of Tokyo and visiting their cafe.
