The exhibition will show 250 black and white drawings and accompanied
handwritten stories based on the illustrations. Much of the work has been
done on trains in Tokyo. Both Mclean and Fantini work in small note books
to accomodate the crowds on the trains, and have createdThe exhibition
is a collobrative effort between Mclean and Fantini. Mclean over the past
year has been drawing detailed illustrations whose subjects cover society,
history world affairs and the surreal, to name but a few Fantini has produced
a short handwritten micro story for each one and all are on display at
the Gallery A.R.T in Ebisu Tokyo. Much of the work has been produced on
the trains and subways of Tokyo.
