SPEAKING
CIRCLES
Overcome Stage Fright and Explore the Magic of your Presence
Imagine standing in front of any group, feeling absolutely at ease
and enjoying the rapt attention of your listeners. The delightful surprise
is that being seen and heard by a supportive, attentive audience is
also a powerful tool for personal discovery and professional growth.
On
July 20th, 2008, Pam Noda will introduce you to SPEAKING CIRCLES,
regular gatherings where participants practice a simple, natural
method of inviting connection with one's listeners. Rather than dealing
with performance technique or content, SPEAKING CIRCLES focuses on
the basis of effective communication - known as "relational presence," or
the art of achieving comfort and connection through being fully present
and completely authentic. Pam, who is one of two certified SPEAKING
CIRCLES facilitators in Japan, was once terrified of meeting new people
and appearing before groups.
In this experiential, workshop-style presentation for the Circle of
Light, Pam will teach you the process that evoked her personal transformation.
You will tap into your natural ability for relational presence, for
deep listening, and for authentic self- expression. Come prepared to
participate in interactive exercises, and maybe even to take a turn
in front of the room!
IMPORTANT:
As a Speaking Circle usually runs from 2 1/2 to 3 hours
the meeting will start exactly on time (18:30)
to allow Pam to cover as much as possible,
therefore please plan on arriving
around 18:15
